My wife loves Carte Noire espresso pods for our Tassimo and we have bought them for quite a number of years. The L'Or "replacement" isn't a rebrand, but a new product being produced by Mondelez (via Jacobs Douwe-Egberts) - and it's rubbish! After some research it looks as if Lavazza has bought the rights to the Carte Noire brand and it is now only available as Nespresso pods (and I hate Nestlé and its third world formula milk policies, so that's the end of that). We have trialled other brands and Claire likes the new Milano pods for Tassimo (only available via the Tassimo store from the UK)... I'm OK because I prefer Lavazza coffee and have a separate machine...!
