The Co-op has relaunched its Tilehurst store following a two-month programme of works and improvements. Located in School Road, the store supports 20 local jobs.
It now also serves-up an in store bakery and Costa Coffee Express alongside a focus on fresh, healthy and chilled produce. There is now a parcel collection service through an Amazon Locker and DPD, and a photo booth has also been added. Works have also been carried out at the back of the shop to enable the store to better serve the community.
Jay Lloyd, store manager, said: “We’ve had a great response. The whole team is delighted to have had the opportunity to invest in Tilehurst – the store’s been transformed with a fresh new look and layout, and we’re really enjoying welcoming our members and customers back. It’s always our aim to operate at the heart of local life and we’ve worked to develop the range, choice and added services to create a compelling offer to serve and support our community.”

The Tilehurst store is open 7am-10pm Monday-Saturday, and 10am-4pm on a Sunday.
