Three retailers have been shortlisted to win a £50,000 store refurbishment, in the final stage of the Londis competition in partnership with Convenience Store.
The competition, launched in February and running exclusively through Convenience Store’s magazine and website, was open to existing retailers not currently trading with the Londis brand. After receiving 60 qualified entries, a longlist of finalists received a store visit and met with an independent panel of retail experts, and were also invited to the Londis Conference and trade show in April.
The contenders have been narrowed down to a final three after a further selection process, and will now be interviewed by senior Londis staff and Convenience Store Editor David Rees before a winner is selected later in the summer.
Londis Director John Pattison said: “We’ve been overwhelmed with the response from Convenience Store readers. The standard is very high and I’m looking forward to offering one retailer that £50,000 store makeover and the start of an exciting partnership with Londis.”
