The UK’s wholesalers and symbol groups are helping retailers score bigger baskets with a wealth of World Cup-themed promotional support.
With just over two weeks before the tournament gets underway on 12 June, Nisa is kicking off with a range of offers including 12 cans of Carling, Fosters, Budweiser or Strongbow for £7.50 plus a BOGOF on Doritos and exclusive offers on pizzas, snacks and ice cream. It has also increased stock levels and deliveries to its 4,000 stores.
Spar is also putting extra weight behind its own label lines with deals across its snacking ranges and Spar brand pizzas on special offer at two for £4 throughout June and July.
A range of promotional and competition activity will also be added to the Spar website and social media pages and the symbol group is offering more tips and advice on football-related sales with dedicated merchandising guides.
Landmark Wholesale is launching an ‘All You Need For The Match promotion’ having identified the top 12 bestselling products for a ‘big night in front of the footie’ and negotiated promotional deals on all of them.
The line-up includes Coca-Cola, Stella Artois, Carling, Pringles, Strongbow, Budweiser, McCoys, Walkers, Magners, Carlsberg, Doritos and Fosters and retailers can save £35 saving if they buy all 12.
Retailers will also be offered advice on how to make the most of these promotions, including pos and stock advice.
Best-one meanwhile has launched a text to win ‘Predict the England Score’ competition for shoppers while retailers can order a pre-filled display unit containing 240 pieces of ‘Come on England’ merchandise including giant flags, face paints, baseball caps and car flags.
