Bestway Wholesale has released a new app that enables cash and carry customers to place their orders more easily.
The Bestway Wholesale app, which is available on both iOS and android, allows customers to create personalised lists and get live delivery updates on any device, at any time.
The new app, which also allows access to the latest products and seasonal offers, barcode-scanning technology and a POR calculator, is accompanied by a website refresh. The app was built by RNF.
Bestway Wholesale head of marketing, Salih Sheikh, said: “We listened to customers, understanding what they do (and don’t) want when it comes to online ordering. We wanted to offer an online experience that wasn’t just in line with wholesale, but that rivalled market leading apps such as Amazon and Ocado – it’s a part of our strategy to utilise digital to improve the shopping experience and service to customers.
“All the customer feedback we received throughout the development and the soft-launch which we just completed, has been used to shape our app to meet customer needs. All a customer has to do now is download the app and sign up online with their existing customer number and they will be ready to order.”
RNF managing director, Rob Mannion, added: “The new apps are yet another example of how Bestway Wholesale is leading the way with mobile technology.
“The ability to communicate with customers via our platform BEAM has proven highly successful for them - optimising sales and creating new income streams - and it’s great to see them taking advantage of it for other divisions.”
