Booker has teamed up with Saffron Business Solutions to help its symbol retailers save an average of £5,000 per year on their energy prices.
The new Energy Buying Club has delivered over £1m of savings since it launched last year, with customers benefitting from better fixed terms than if they went direct.
Through the club, retailers keep control of their energy terms at all times and can review all offers before making a final decision.
Managing director of Booker Retail Colm Johnson, said: “We are always looking for new ways to help our retailers grow their business and save money at the same time, so we’re delighted to be able to offer this great service through our Energy Buying Club.”
Director of Saffron Business Solutions David Haworth added: “The Energy Buying Club has delivered over £1m in savings for Booker retailers since being launched in May 2023. Grouping retailers together has allowed us to offer better prices and terms through the club, achieving an average saving of over £5,000 (20%) per annum per retailer.”
