With there currently a reported 7,000 different flavours of vapes to try in the UK, it’s not surprising the range can sometimes be baffling. But supplier Vape Superstore has just released findings from a survey of 1,000 people, to shed light on how e-cigarette users view vape flavours, in light of the tobacco and vapes bill.
Berry has been shown to be the most popular flavour, due to the company’s sales data, with one in ten people opting for the it. Over a quarter (27%) of vapers want to try birthday cake-flavoured vapes the most, according to Vape Superstore’s survey.
Interestingly, the younger ages (spanning the 18-44 bracket) are more likely to want to try different flavours, with almost a quarter (24%) of 45-54-year-olds and two in five (44%) of over 55-year-olds saying they don’t want to try any other flavours that they haven’t yet already tried. Males are less likely to try new flavours, with almost a quarter (23%) saying that they don’t want to try any other vape flavours. Despite 28% of females saying the same, 32% said they’d like to try birthday cake-flavoured vapes.
Cherry is the second most popular vape flavour, with 6% of customers opting for the fruit-flavoured vape. Strawberry completes the top three, with 6% of vapers choosing the fruit flavour.
David Phillips, from Vape Superstore, said: “It’s great to see that Brits appear happy and content with the vape flavours on offer to them, with our study showing that over a quarter (26%) of respondents state they don’t wish to try any other flavours. It’s also interesting to see that Brits want to steer away from tobacco flavours in their vapes, with just 1% opting for the flavour, suggesting that alternative flavours are an appealing aid for those on nicotine replacement therapy.”
