A man has appeared in court following a knife-wielding robbery on a convenience store in Nottinghamshire, police have revealed.
The incident happened at the M&H Discounts on Broxtowe Lane in the Aspley, Nottingham, at around 2.05pm on 26 January.
A man entered the store and threatened staff with a knife before fleeing on a bicycle with a quantity of cash. Nobody is reported to have been injured during the incident.
Nottinghamshire Police have confirmed that Jonathan Cotterill, 23, was charged with robbery and possession of an offensive weapon, and was remanded in custody to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on 25 February.
