A man has been charged following an attempted ATM ram raid at a Spar store in Moray, Scotland, police have revealed.
The incident happened at the store on Regent Street in the town of Keith at around 3:35am on 19 January.
The 35-year-old suspect faces six charges, including theft of a vehicle, culpable and reckless conduct and attempted theft from an ATM, after the front of the store was destroyed after it was hit by a digger.
The A96 Aberdeen to Inverness road was closed for several hours following the attempted ram raid, with debris, including glass, shop fittings and earth, scattered across the road.
