Morrisons has announced a £7m investment across its c-store estate in the Channel Islands, following its recent acquisition of 36 stores in Jersey, Guernsey and Alderney.

There are currently 19 Morrisons Daily stores and the remainder operate under the Iceland, Chequers Express and Le Cocq brands.

In the coming months, all stores will be rebranded to the Morrisons format, except for the two Le Cocq stores.

The retailer plans to invest in the conversion programme as well as in the overall improvement of all the stores.

Morrisons has also announced that its Morrisons More card will roll out across stores in the Channel Islands.
