Nisa has announced the appointment of Taranjit Singh Dhillon as its new head of retail.
Dhillon will join Katie Secretan’s retail & sales leadership team and will be responsible for the development and delivery of Nisa’s retail strategy, across the diverse network of customer stores.
With 20 years in retail, Dhillon brings a “deep understanding of the independent convenience market and franchising,” said Nisa.
He comes from One Stop, where he oversaw a network of 350 franchisees. Before One Stop, he held senior positions at Lidl and PepsiCo.
Commenting on the appointment, Katie Secretan director of sales and retail at Nisa said: “I’m thrilled to have Taranjit join the Nisa team. His hands-on experience in independent retail and ability to build franchise relationships is exactly what we need to take our retailer proposition to the next level, and I’m confident he’s the right person to lead our retail team. Taranjit’s fresh ideas and proven success in driving growth will be key in helping us achieve our long-term strategy.”
Dhillon said: “This is an exciting time for independent retailing and I’m delighted to be joining Katie and the dynamic team at Nisa. I look forward to using my experience to enhance our proposition, help drive recruitment, and continue delivering value for our retailers.”
Nisa added that it has plans for further appointments to follow later in Q4.
Dhillion will commence his role on 9 September 2024.
