Nisa Retail has announced that a new and updated version of its Epos system will roll out to retailers from February this year.
Evolution Version 2.0 is currently being piloted by Nisa retailer Chris Taylor, owner of Taylors of Tickhill, in Yorkshire. Chris said the trial was going well and the upgrade was long awaited.
He added: “It has been a long time coming but it is very, very good. It looks very similar to the old version, but it is far better and very intuitive – which is working wonders for me in-store.
“You used to have to dig around for different information about your products but now it is all there, right in front of you, at the touch of a button. There are really useful graphs on screen which illustrate the data you are looking at and an audit trail for every single product and what has happened to it such as price changes and so on.”
The new software is designed to improve efficiency for retailers, and provide stores with a detailed history of every sku they sell, including price, promotions, stock levels, waste and sale figures.
Nisa head of Epos Mike Wardle said: “The installation of the new software went very well at Taylor’s of Tickhill and really is testament to the hard work and determination of the team in their testing, development and planning over the last year. We are now looking forward to the next steps and rolling out Version 2.0 to our other retailers.”
