Tesco-owned retail group One Stop has reached an incredible milestone, having raised £10m over the last 10 years through in-store fundraising and grant programmes.
The money has benefitted both the retailer’s national charity partners such as Macmillan, Children in Need, Alzheimer’s Society as well as local charities and causes in the communities in which One Stop serves.
Jack Taylor, One Stop community and partnerships manager said: “We are absolutely thrilled to have reached this milestone.
“Our heartfelt thanks to all our customers and colleagues for giving their money and time so generously. Our colleagues have clocked up over 282,000 hours volunteering since 2013! We’re incredibly grateful and proud of each and every one of them.”
On average, One Stop claims to have raised and donated £1m every year since 2013 and it is closing in on the £1m figure again this year.
