One Stop has confirmed it plans to close three company-owned stores in Lincolnshire.
The Tesco-owned chain will close stores in Horncastle, Kirton Lindsey and Lincoln.
A spokeswoman for One Stop stressed that the decision to close the stores was part of a regular review of the viability of the chain’s retail estate.
She added: “We can confirm that we have taken the difficult decision to close a small number of stores. We don’t take these decisions lightly and our priority now is to support colleagues affected at this difficult time. Wherever possible, we will offer them alternative roles with One Stop.”
Last year, Tesco closed 15 company-owned One Stop stores and opened 11 new sites.
