Parfetts has announced the appointment of Leona Starzez as key account manager in a move to help boost the growth of its off-license fascia, The Local.
The company said Starzez was promoted in recognition of her hard work supporting retailers after joining Parfetts in August 2023.
Steve Moore, head of retail at Parfetts, stated that she brings a wealth of experience in the off-licence sector: “We’re confident that she will provide industry-leading levels of support for our current retailers. She is passionate about the industry and will help new retailers benefit from the flexible and margin-focused service offered by The Local.”
To help improve sales and profits for retailers, Starzez’s role will focus on areas such as category advice and consumer missions.
Leona Starzec said: “Parfetts has worked closely with the off-licence sector to develop a fascia that is aligned to their needs and gives shoppers the choice and value they need. I’ve seen a huge amount of interest since I joined the company, and I look forward to helping the fascia go from strength to strength.”
