Allwyn, operator of The National Lottery, has been celebrating Paris 2024 drawing to a close, and the Paralympic Games finishing on Sunday, by giving away one mega jackpot and heralding the arrival of two more – all in the same week.

As previously announced, its summer-long Paris 2024 campaign celebrated the unique and authentic role The National Lottery plays in the journeys of Team GB and ParalympicsGB athletes to the 2024 Games, and the players who helped them get there simply by buying a ticket.

The latest activity includes a mega £15 million Lotto ‘Must Be Won’ draw, happening this Saturday 7 September. Special POS to support this special draw has already landed in stores, ready to be sited to support sales. However, Lotto also naturally rolled to a £12.5 million ‘Must Be Won’ draw – with that mega jackpot having been scooped last night. At the same time, EuroMillions is on a rolling streak, with a mammoth £125 million up for grabs this Friday.

To support this unique opportunity, Allwyn has rushed out tens of thousands of ‘Over £100m’ EuroMillions posters to arrive in stores from today, ready for Friday’s draw. In-store National Lottery media screens will also be promoting all the big jackpots.

Allwyn’s retail director, Alex Green, said: “As the hugely-successful Paris Games draw to a close, the stars have aligned and we’ve now got three massive National Lottery draws happening this week. These mega jackpots provide a fitting close to what has been an inspiring summer of sport – with National Lottery players being absolutely vital to the success of our Team GB and ParalympicsGB athletes.”
