Preston-based James Hall & Co. Ltd forecourts has switched six forecourts over to Shell.
The changeover has seen the Shell livery replace the Texaco brand at the six locations, and the decision to switchover is a strategic reshuffling of the company’s forecourt portfolio to maximise the value it delivers.
All of the forecourts are supported with James Hall & Co. Ltd company-owned Spar stores that offer forecourt users a comprehensive range of convenience goods to keep them supplied at home and fuelled for the road.
The six forecourts that have switched to Shell are located in:
· Accrington, Lancashire
· Barnton, Cheshire
· High Hill, Cumbria
· Milnthorpe, Cumbria
· Rochdale, Greater Manchester
· Threshfield, North Yorkshire
David Clement, forecourt development manager at James Hall & Co. Ltd, said: “We have an excellent working relationship with Shell and the changeover is a positive development between the two companies.
“The strategy that is being rolled out is one that has considered the company’s forecourt position at present, and what it will look like in the future as the business delivers its growth plan in the years ahead.
“Shell’s livery at our company-owned forecourts will be key to achieving our ambitions going forward, and Texaco will continue to play an important role in our success in the future too.”
James Hall & Co. Ltd is a fifth-generation family business which serves a network of independent Spar retailers and company-owned Spar stores across Northern England six days a week from its base at Bowland View in Preston.
