Retailers involved in vaping are being encouraged to support next month’s VApril campaign.
The vaping awareness month was created by the UK Vaping Industry Association (UKVIA) to help smokers choose the right vaping device, flavours and nicotine strengths that will give them the best chance of quitting smoking.
Companies can sign up to the VApril campaign here to gain free access to social media graphics and StartVapingStopSmoking guides.
Vape supplier Aquavape is supporting the campaign with a VApril POS pack for retailers containing an A5 education card and posters. Retail customers can email sales@aquavape.co.uk to receive a pack.
The firm also advised retailers to encourage their customers to ditch cigarettes and pick up a vape, by using snappy facts to “help seal the deal”, such as ‘Customers can save £30 a week if they switch from cigarettes to vaping’.
“VApril is a great chance for you to educate customers on the potential cost benefits of switching from cigarettes to vaping,” the company told retailers on LinkedIn. “With recent tobacco tax increases, highlighting the price difference between vaping products and cigarettes is more important than ever.”
The supplier also claimed that VApril was an excellent opportunity to boost visibility in store. “Attract customers by creating eye-catching displays and utilising promotional materials that inform them of your various initiatives and promotions. Think outside the box this VApril and make it a memorable shopping experience.”
