One of the UK’s fastest growing businesses in the retail sector, Amacor, has reported a 47% increase in sales of promoted products after installing Hi! Street Digital high definition screens into 14 Nisa stores.
The street-facing screens feature in stores throughout the North of England, North Midlands and North Wales. They are installed inside the front entrances of the outlets and will allow individual stores to schedule digital adverts based on sales promotions.
The 55-inch high-definition screens will, on average, be able to reach an estimated 1,000 shoppers every day with the latest in-store promotions from well-known brands.
Hi! Street Digital’s out-of-home network is a key element in Amacor’s convenience retail chain strategy, integrating the technology adopted by larger retailers and bringing it to a local audience via their convenience store network to augment customer experiences.
Throughout the day, each screen runs a continually evolving loop, including one locally tailored advert for the individual Amacor store, designed and published by the in-house design team at Hi! Street Digital.
Scott Sandford, Amacor’s head of retail, said: “Hi! Street’s out-of-home digital screens represent a hugely powerful advertising opportunity for our convenience stores and for the huge range of products we stock.
“With the help of Hi! Street’s screens in all our convenience stores, we can tailor our ads and collect EPOS data to measure the impact of our local adverts that are personalised to each store. We’re already seeing up to a 47% uplift in sales of promoted products.”
Robin Burton, Hi! Street Digital’s head of retail development, said: “Our digital-out-of-home media installations help us deliver a more engaging shopping experience for retail customers, while providing brand advertisers and convenience store networks like Amacor with a valuable additional communications channel.
“Our advertising estate encompasses the country’s leading convenience symbol groups – Nisa, Booker Group, Spar, Simply Fresh, One Stop and Costcutter.”
The network of 230+ screens is currently undergoing rapid expansion, going into convenience stores in town and cities all over the UK and new locations are actively being sourced.
