Bournemouth retailer wins £10,000 in Camelot’s quarterly prize draw

A Bournemouth-based National Lottery retailer has won the top prize of £10,000 in Camelot’s latest Site, Stock, Sell draw.

Caglar Kirici, owner of Premier Hillview Stores on Hill View Road, received an automatic entry into the quarterly big draw for maintaining high in-store standards for the sale of National Lottery products.

The draw included a £20,000 prize pool, with one £10,000 top prize and ten £1,000 prizes up for grabs each quarter.

Caglar said: “I felt really overwhelmed when I found out from my Camelot Sales Exec that I’d won. I wasn’t expecting it at all, especially winning the top prize which is a huge amount of money. I will use it to support my family and take them on holiday, and we’ll be able to visit lots of attractions. I can also take my colleagues for a meal to thank them for their hard work.”

Ranbir Singh Lakhanpal of Seaview Road Convenience Store in Wallasey also won £10,000.

Ranbir said: “I was over the moon with the news that I’d won. I’ve only been trading with The National Lottery for six months so it’s a great start. It’s also my first business, so this truly is an amazing start for me and my family.”

Amandeep said: “I don’t usually win competitions, so to win this one was a big surprise. It’s good timing with Christmas on the way. I’ll also share some of it with my staff and give some to local charity.”
