“The main challenges next year will be the increase in wages and the law changing with vapes. We’ve prepared for the increase in wages but yet again it’s been left to us retailers to educate the customer on the new vape laws… But we’re ready and looking forward to take on the challenge of 2025. 2024 has been a flat year. It’s time to get excited again and leave 2024 in the past!”

“We’re looking forward to taking the business forward. Don’t get me wrong, there are plenty of challenges ahead which we can all see but then again, I think there’s never been such a time where brands are appreciating retailers. So, we have activations and collaborations happening.

“There’s plenty of challenges regarding inflation and everything and costs going up kind of thing, but I think it’s really time to for us to be more proactive than ever and take the business forward. Plus we’ve come through Covid and more, and I think as a community we’ve come out stronger. I think the community support and spirit is more now than ever as well.

“Relationships are key – whether that’s with wholesalers, or with your customers. I’m going to make existing bonds stronger and make new bonds out there as well. And then so that’s the passion. We do understand there are challenges out there, but either you moan about them or you tackle them head on and try and be smart, and bring efficiency into it and take on the challenges and get over them.”
