Orchard Pig is expanding its alcohol range with the introduction of a new pink cider can.
Orchard Pig Pink (4.5% abv), which markets itself as a crisp blush apple cider, combines the light and fruity elements of a rosé wine with the dryness of a Somerset cider.
Brand Manager, Rhona Fyfe, said: “We’re tickled pink with the arrival of Orchard Pig Pink. Over the past few years, we’ve seen the rosé trend erupt in the North American market as well as a huge consumer appetite for rosé wine and pink gins here in the UK, we want to bring a little bit of these flavours to cider drinkers with Orchard Pig Pink. While Orchard Pig Pink certainly looks good, it tastes even better and is the perfect refreshing drink for summer sipping, festival season and BBQ dining.”
Available in four-packs of 330ml cans and 500ml bottles, Orchard Pig Pink will be made available to wholesalers from next week (rrp at retailer’s discretion with a guide of £5 for the multi-pack).
