Parcel delivery service CollectPlus has announced a growth in transactions and revenue over the past 12 months.
In its financial results for the 12 months to 31 March 2013, it reported that it is handling 5.7 million transactions a year and revenue grew to £14.3m for the first six months of the year.
This growth was attributed to the increase in clients working with CollectPlus over the past year. Estee Lauder, Fat Face, Urban Outfitters and Ted Baker customers can now return items through the CollectPlus network while River Island, The White Company and Superdry are offering a click & collect service. John Lewis is also now trialling the collection service through 1,500 CollectPlus stores.
The number of stores offering CollectPlus has also increased to over 5,500, a 10% increase on the previous year.
Chief executive officer Neil Ashworth said: “CollectPlus continues to go from strength to strength as more and more consumers and brands are seeing the value of our pioneering parcel collections and returns service. We know that people want a service that fits in with their lifestyles and offers them a local collection point service. We will continue to expand our network across the UK to give customers what they want, namely a convenient location to pick up or send a parcel.”
