A robber accidentally slashed the arm of his accomplice with a meat cleaver during a store raid. The incident took place as the pair attempted to cut CCTV cables at the Co-op store in Longfield, Kent. The two men had forced the store supervisor to re-open the shop as he waited for a taxi outside. They then demanded he open the safe and they grabbed about £100 cash and escaped in a people carrier.

A teenager is being hunted by police after holding a member of staff at a Basingstoke One Stop store at knifepoint. The youth, who is believed to be about 15 years old, wore a balaclava and escaped on foot with cash.
The male shop assistant was left shaken but unhurt.

A machete-wielding robber who stole £200 from a Gravesend Threshers store is being sought by police in north Kent. The man demanded the cashier hand over cash from the till, then ran away. The robber was caught on CCTV.

Two men have been arrested following an attempted armed robbery at a Costcutter sub post office in Cardiff. The pair, who are thought to have used an imitation firearm, entered the store in Penarth Road through the rear fire exit and threatened the post office manager.
A police helicopter and sniffer dogs were called to
the scene.

Police hope to track down a man who has stolen from a store in north Kent on four separate occasions.
The suspect, who is in his mid-20s, has been caught on CCTV stealing items including beer, cigarettes and magazines from the High Street Co-op in Swanscombe.
On each occasion he either walked out with the goods or distracted the shop assistant by asking for tobacco.
