I don’t know about you, but I’m fed up with those phone calls and texts offering to refund missold payment protection insurance (PPI). In truth I wish I were due refunds it would have amounted to unintentional savings!

Lately I’ve been telling callers that I am registered with the TPS (Telephone Preference Service) indicating that I do not wish to receive sales calls. Usually they go away in a hurry. And they apologise. So it sort of works.
