You might think from reading past columns that all subpostmasters hate the Post Office - and, indeed, many do when it comes to its glitchy Horizon accounting system. However, there are still some keen to take part in its new retail counter scheme. Its Local offering is currently being trialled in 166 stores and the Post Office is offering up to £10K to help with the installation.

This excited the interest of Kulvinder Kaur, who runs an off licence in Selly Oak. She wants to branch out and asked how she should apply.
