High-profile retailer Guy Warner has extended his contract with Budgens for another three years after opening a sixth store (pictured) in the Cotswolds.
The award-winning retailer, who has been with Budgens since 2006, owns six Warner’s Budgens stores across the Cotswolds, with the latest store based in Winchcombe, Gloucestershire. The new three-year contract comes after Budgens was bought by Booker last September.
“I am delighted to sign a further three year contract to partner with Budgens, as a symbol brand they are the best fit for Warner’s stores,” he said.
“Our customers know and recognise the brand, the fresh range is outstanding and with Booker behind us we have even greater options to extend some of our other lines. We get exceptional marketing support and are able to share ideas and expertise with other Budgens retailers across the UK. I look forward to achieving more growth in the next three years.”
Budgens director Mike Baker said: “It’s a real pleasure to serve Guy, one of our most successful retailers and we are delighted to be working with him. Our business partnership with Warners is based on a shared commitment to achieving growth and the best food offer for customers. Being part of Booker Group only strengthens our offer to retailers such as Guy and I’m delighted that he recognises this. I’m sure the new Winchcombe store will prove a great success.”
Warner’s Budgens food stores are located in Broadway, Bidford-on-Avon and Moreton-in-Marsh with the latest opening in Winchcombe this week. Its forecourt stores are located in Tewkesbury and Gloucester. The new Winchcombe store features an ATM, Cook frozen ready meal offer, glass hire and parking.
