The Health Lottery has launched a new 50p game.
Tickets will be available to buy from 19 January and the first draw will take place on 23 January. The draws for the quick pick 50p game will happen every Tuesday and Friday with a maximum jackpot of £25,000.
Billed as the very first 50p game, the Health Lottery said players are seven times more likely to win this than the Lotto jackpot. The addition of the 50p game to the existing £1 game increases the chance to win a Health Lottery jackpot to four times a week.
Northern and Shell group joint managing director Stan Myerson said: “Building on our success we wanted to make The Health Lottery even more affordable, to increase on the £90m pounds that has already been won. No one else has a game at this price point and we are proud to continue to innovate in the market and support all the amazing projects we work with.”
