Londis sales director Scott Wharton is to leave Musgrave after seven years with the company.
Wharton joined Musgrave as supply chain director in 2007 following stints at Tesco and Woolworths.
The departure comes just weeks after a restructure of the Londis sales team, although a Musgrave spokeswoman said Wharton’s resignation was unrelated.
She said that Wharton felt it was time to move on and that he would be taking some time off. His departure date has not been confirmed.
The spokeswoman added that Wharton’s replacement had not yet been decided, but that they had started the recruitment process.
The sales team would be supported by Budgens and Londis managing director Donal Horgan.
“Scott has been with Musgrave Retail Partners for more than seven years, holding roles as a director in both sales and supply chain,” said Horgan.
“We wish him all the best for his future and have already begun the process for filling his role.”
