Suffolk-based seed snacking brand Munchy Seeds is set to launch a new campaign through East of England Co-op stores to encourage more people to eat seeds on a daily basis.
The ‘Seeds for a Salad’ campaign will be rolled out to five stores across the region, with Munchy Seed snack packs being merchandised for the first time alongside salad ingredients in the fresh produce aisle.
Lucinda Clay, founder of Munchy Seeds, said: “We are really excited to be working with the East of England Co-op to encourage more people to add seeds into their diets.
“Our seeds offer a huge amount of nutritional benefits. In fact, they are so nutrient-dense that just a tablespoon or two a day is more than enough to give you a boost in vital vitamins and nutrients such as protein, vitamins A, B, C and E and the minerals calcium, magnesium, potassium, zinc, iron, selenium and manganese.”
The campaign will be rolled out in the fresh produce aisle from 1st June and will run for four months.
“Via clever merchandising and point of sale material, this campaign will allow customers to visually see just how easy it is to add an extra vitamin, protein and health boost to a meal. A sprinkling of seeds on a salad or sandwich can make a huge difference to your overall health. It’s that easy,” adds Lucinda.
