Premier has launched its biggest ever promotion with a £1m give-away.
The Booker symbol group is offering 20 grand prizes of £1000 each, while shoppers also have a one in three chance of winning an instant prize such as a bag of wotsits, Cadbury Caramel Nibbles or a bottle of Mountain Dew.
All retailers will receive the product prizes free of charge and the give-away will feature prominently on the Premier consumer website.
Retailers will also get a set of scratch cards free-of-charge for them to give away to shoppers when they spend £5 or more on a single transaction. The scratchcards are coupled with a free-of-charge pos kit which includes posters, shelf barkers and hanging signs to raise awarness with shoppers.
Steve Fox, Premier’s retail sales director, said: “This is a simple, however highly effective promotion for our retailers to build their business and has proven to drive footfall into stores, as we first used this concept in April 2010.
“It is a fantastic way for our retailers to engage with their shoppers and is another reason why Premier continues to go from strength to strength.”
