9Nine, the new face of 9Bar, is unveiling new products and packaging.
9Nine super seed bars will be joined by new healthier snacking alternative products including Super Seed Fusions and Seed Bombes.
9Nine Super Seed Fusions 35g seed shots and 200g packs (rrp 99p and £2.99) have been created for sprinkling and sharing occasions. Flavours include: Spanish Patatas Bravas, Argentinian Chimichurri and Indian Mango Kuchela.
9Nine Seed Bombes are full of Super Seeds and double cocoa and aim to drive value into the indulgent treats and confectionery category. Double Cocoa flavours include: Coconut, Raspberry and Vanilla (3x15g serving rrp £1.50 or 128g sharing bag rrp £2.69).
Mark Gould, CEO at 9Brand Foods, said: “9Nine is all about seeds and interesting innovation, combining these in 2017 will form part of our plans as we move away from solely producing bars. Seeds are a £46m category and growing +11% YOY. That’s higher than crisps, nuts, savoury and healthier biscuits (Kantar Worldpanel 52 w/e 11th Sept 2016). Consumers are looking to build more natural but great tasting nutritional choices into their everyday lives and we have created a new business called 9Brand Foods that will be at the heart of an NPD pipeline that will push healthier snacking out beyond bars.”
