French bakery Bridor has extended its convenience-inspired B’Break range of hand-held snacking rolls with two new lines featuring superfood ingredients.
Apricot, Pistachio & Spelt 70g rolls are said to deliver flavour and texture thanks to the combination of fruit, nuts and flax seeds. Spelt has been grown for about 11,000 years and is known for being naturally high in fibre and easy to digest.
Joining these are Fig, Almond & Buckwheat 70g rolls. Buckwheat is naturally gluten-free and rich in vitamins and minerals, and its non-irritant soluble fibres can make you feel fuller. The grain is complemented by sweet, fragrant figs and crunchy almonds.
With 63% of 25- to 35-year-olds replacing a meal with a snacking product due to a lack of time (Innova Consumer Lifestyle and Attitudes 2018), B’Break is an ideal food-to-go solution throughout the day.
Erwan Inizan, sales director UK, commented: “Today’s consumers want products that can be eaten quickly, but which are also healthy. The latest B’Break recipes are designed to satisfy all these requirements. Small yet satisfying, these easy-to-carry breads are perfect for keeping hunger at bay at any time of day.”
Supplied frozen, the B’Break range is fully baked and comes packed in units of 40 pieces per box.
