BZZD Energy has introduced pink lemonade flavour to its portfolio of energy tonic waters.
It comes after the brand entered the category with its energy tonic water, winning six product innovation awards including a commendation at the Grocer Awards.
Designed to provide consumers with “the ultimate, all natural uplift”, the new flavour is crafted with caffeine deprived entirely from plants.
The pink comes from a hint of raspberry, and it is sweetened with the finest pure Blossom Honey and plant-based Stevia, avoiding the “overwhelming sugary taste often associated with energy drinks,” said the brand.
BZZD Energy founder Louise Lloyd said: “BZZD Energy was always created with an innovation pipeline in mind, we are an energy brand not a mixer brand. Following our successful launch of BZZD Tonic Water OOH and in selected high end retail, BZZD Energy Pink Lemonade is the first in a line of new flavours. Energy is the biggest growth driver in soft drinks and whilst the original energy drink consumer has grown up, the category has not, we are offering premium, elevated energy for a more discerning palette.”
Available in cases of eight units with an RRSP of £5.50, it is available on the BZZD Energy website, Amazon, and is set to roll out into retail later in the year.
The mixers are crafted in the UK using ethically sourced ingredients and packaged in 100% recyclable materials.
