Corona Cero, the global beer sponsor of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, has just launched limited edition packs, bottles and prizes for retail. The new look of the Corona Cero and Corona Extra bottles is part of the For Every Golden Moment global Olympics campaign and bottles display the iconic Olympic rings.
To mark the occasion, packs will give consumers a chance to enjoy a range of prizes to help them get into the spirit of the games. The scan-to-win mechanic will give shoppers a chance to win tickets to see the Men’s 200m final or the closing ceremony live in France.
The partnership shines a light on Corona Cero’s growing popularity in the no and low alcohol sector, with an increasingly positive reception now given for those seeking enjoyable alternatives to traditional options without the full effects of alcohol.
Jess McGeorge, global brands marketing director at supplier AB InBev said: “AB InBev is thrilled that the world’s leading beer can partner with one of the world’s biggest sporting events. We’re proud that we get to be part of so many events taking place this summer across our brands. The history of the Olympics makes it a favourite for many, and we’ll be looking to drive that excitement in store with a host of prizes for fans to enjoy!”
