Ginsters is launching two new large flavoured savouries - BBQ Pulled Pork Roll and Smokehouse Steak and Cheese Roll (rrp £1.80).

Available from April 5, The Large Smokehouse Steak and Cheese Roll is made with British steak sausage meat and diced steak, Westcountry vintage cheddar cheese, onion and a smoky barbeque seasoning, wrapped in a light puff pastry.

The Large BBQ Pulled Pork is made with British pulled pork and sausage meat in a BBQ sauce with onions, wrapped in a light puff pastry. 

Kate Brown, Ginsters brand manager, said: “Food on the go is predicted to grow to £21.7 billion by 2021 according to IGD and Ginsters’ new rolls tap into the growing trend for “Smokehouse and BBQ flavours” and these two new innovative flavours are set to generate interest amongst shoppers and help drive sales in the category.

“Research with consumers confirmed that these two new flavours have extremely high levels of appeal. Retailers should stock up to take advantage of the incremental sales.” 

The launch will also be supported with POS and PMPs are available.
