Haribo has unveiled a new 30% less sugar addition to its range – Fruitilicious.
Fruitilicious features fruit shaped, smiley faced pieces in strawberry, raspberry, pineapple, orange, apple and lemon flavours.
Within the category’s top 25 selling hanging bags, Fruitilicious currently delivers the lowest sugar content per 100g - 33g (IRI Marketplace, Total Market, 52 wks to 03/12/17).
The brand says that in order to reduce the amount of sugar, Dextrin and a small quantity of Sorbitol syrup is used.
Fruitilicious is available now in a range of pack sizes including 165g, 120g and a 155g £1 RSP priced-marked pack.
Fruitilicious will be supported by a multi-channel campaign including PR, product sampling and a new exclusive TV advert which marks a multi-million pound investment for the Haribo brand.
