Kraft Heinz has unveiled a new microwaveable pot format for two of its most popular Heinz soups.
Available in Cream of Tomato and Vegetable flavours, the new pots come in three sizes (280g, 355g and 490g) and are designed to drive sales in the on-the-go category (rrp 99p, £1.19 and £1.39 respectively).
With each pot containing one of your five a day and no artificial flavours or preservatives, the new Heinz Soup pots are sealed with aluminium foil to lock in freshness and a plastic closing lid. All packaging is 100% recyclable and features an on-pack recycling label.
Asmita Singh, senior brand manager for Heinz Soup, said: “Our brand-new, convenient pot format will revolutionise the way consumers can indulge in some of our best loved soup flavours. Simple to prepare and easy to consume, Heinz Soup can now be enjoyed on the go and within a matter of minutes. We know the category like nobody else, and our brand and our heritage ensures that we can deliver genuinely credible innovation to the category.
“The launch follows on from the success of Kraft Heinz Snap Pot format within our Beans and Pasta ranges, which have performed well since launch with more than £10m sales in first year - assisting Heinz Beanz value growth of +11%. The launch will satisfy consumer demand for handy mealtime solutions.”
