Heinz has launched a new inititative to help retailers grow their grocery category. The ‘Know Grocery, Grow Grocery’ campaign, which debuts on February 20, will include specific range and display advice for convenience store owners. It will be communicated through the www.growgrocery.com website and category management guides that are tailored for both independent and symbol group operators.
Heinz head of convenience & impulse Simon Digby hopes the initiative will stop retailers missing out on grocery sales. “The grocery category is the backbone of any busy convenience store but our research shows that retailers could be missing out on huge sales opportunities during the year through a lack of focus on the grocery fixtures,” he said.
