J₂O, the number one adult soft drinks brand in the UK (Nielsen, 52 wks 29.06.18), is relaunching its limited-edition Glitterberry flavour earlier than ever before this year to allow retailers to maximise seasonal sales opportunities including Bonfire Night, Halloween and Christmas.
Available now, J₂O’s Glitterberry sku features a blend of grape, cherry and winter spice flavours with edible gold glitter and available in 4 x 275ml packs.
The relaunch of the flavour is being supported by a new campaign and advertising creative featuring J₂O’s brand ambassador and cockney alpaca Mojo.
In the run up to Christmas, Mojo will be back on air with a new 10 second Glitterberry advert that will feature on TV nationwide. The activity will be supported by a heavyweight shopper campaign, with a variety of in-store initiatives designed to encourage shoppers to ‘Find their Mojo’ with J₂O throughout the festive season.
Trystan Farnworth, commercial director for convenience and impulse at brand owner Britvic, said: “J₂O is growing from strength to strength, with an average of five J₂O products being sold every second, so it’s no wonder that customers keep returning, so much so that J₂O has the highest loyalty levels within Adult Soft Drinks (Kantar Wordpanel, 52 wks, 12.08.18).”
Farnworth added that during the four weeks leading up to Christmas, £2 in every £5 spent in the adult soft drinks category is on J₂O products (Nielsen Scantrack, 4 w/e 30.12.17).
