Kellogg’s is introducing a standard price for its pricemarked cereal range.
Available from January 2015, all individual packs will be priced at £2.19. Kellogg’s hopes this decision will give retailers greater direction on their must stock products.
There will now be 11 Kellogg’s cereals listed in the PMP range.
The pricemarked packs are:
- Frosties (375g)
- Coco Pops (295g)
- Rice Krispies (340g)
- Corn Flakes (500g)
- Crunchy Nut (375g)
- Special K Original (300g)
- Special K Red Berries (300g)
- Kellogg’s Variety Packs
- Fruit & Fibre (375g)
- Bran Flakes (500g)
- Krave Choc Nut (375g)
Nick Dawson, UK sales director of speciality channels at Kellogg’s UK said: “Shoppers love to grab a bargain so we are giving them great value tasty cereal at a competitive price which will increase sales in store.”
In addition, Kellogg’s will be giving shoppers the opportunity to claim their own bespoke engraved spoon, featuring their favourite Kellogg’s character, when they buy three promotional pricemarked cereal boxes.
The promotion will be advertised on all PMP packs in January 2015 and will be supported by a multi-media campaign and new TV advert.
Retailers will also be able to obtain promotional POS kits to draw shopper’s attention.
Suzie Mathewson, trade sector controller at Kellogg’s said: “This promotion is a fantastic opportunity for our retailers because we are bringing fun back into the box.”
