Richmond has expanded into new territory with the launch of Mini Meatballs.
Available in frozen 400g packs (rrp £2.50) and 200g fresh packs (rrp: £2), the pork meatballs are targeted at mums and children aged between two and nine. Meatballs is an emerging category, worth £62.3m and in strong growth (up 7.7%), but with household penetration currently at 24% there is still significant headroom for growth, claims Kerry Foods.
The products will be supported with a multi-million pound marketing campaign, including digital, in-store and sampling activity.
