Aston Manor has announced a strong year for Knights Cider, as its sales report found that it has sold over 12 million cans annually.
According to Kantar, the cider brand has seen a 54% increase in shoppers year on year according to Kantar.
The company said the results were influenced by several factors, including customers’ preference for British-made goods, increased footfall in wholesale stores, and the ongoing cost-of-living crisis.
Calli O’Brien head of marketing at Aston Manor Cider said: “Consumer confidence in the UK is currently at a record low, even lower than the 2008 global financial crisis. This paints a grim picture of the UK public’s mood and, as a result, decision making around expenditure is being heavily impacted.
“Our range provides shoppers with an affordable solution, without trading down on quality, so they can be assured they are not compromising when needing to spend a little less cash on cider. The strong performance of the Knights Cider brand further enhances our reputation for producing great tasting and award-winning ciders.”
