The revamped line-up uses 60% less plastic than the previous range and consists of five mixed variants: sweet chilli; mega omega; salted caramel; honey roasted; and warm cinnamon.

Lucinda Clay, co-founder for Munchy Seeds, said: “Today the world of healthy snacking is more functional, complicated and worthy than ever, yet seeds remain synonymous with goodness, nutrition and health.

“Snacking shouldn’t be boring and it shouldn’t be considered a diet supplement or a mini meal; snacking should be impulsive, enjoyable and fulfilling and bring you joy.”

Clay added: “Our seed mixes do just that, they are functional and nutritious and packed with vitamins and minerals. They are also incredibly tasty and full of flavour, making them the perfect impulse snack for health-conscious consumers. With our stand-out new branding and packaging formats, we aim to give customers health, choice and great taste snacks on the go.”

Available to c-stores now, the Munchy Seeds roasted seed mixes now come in three formats: 25g snack packs (rrp 79p),125g sharing packs (rrp £2.99) and 450g mega packs (rrp £8.75).
