Doritos is launching a new limited edition 300g ‘big bag’ and festive designs across its range of sharing chips.

The new snow-capped packs of Doritos are being rolled out to retailers now. The designs feature Christmas slogans with a twist, including ‘All I want for Xmas is Doritos’, ‘I’m dreaming of Doritos’ and ‘Deck the halls with Doritos’.

Ceri Bustin, marketing assistant for Doritos at PepsiCo, said: “The Big Night In occasion is worth £1.8bn every year (Kantar Worldpanel Usage IH/ CO only 52 w/e 31st December 2017) and with people having cosy nights in, get-togethers and parties with friends and family over the festive season, there’s a huge sales opportunity for retailers.

“In recent years we have seen sales of sharing packs double over the Christmas period (Nielsen Homescan Survey, January 2016) and we anticipate that our seasonal packs will really catch the eye of customers as they seek out snacks to enjoy together this Christmas, with the 300g big bag being a great option for larger groups.”

The seasonal designs are launching on packs of Doritos’ three core flavours: tangy cheese, cool original and chilli heatwave, and across its 150g and 180g bags (rrp £1.99 each), as well as its new 300g packs (promotional rrp £1.50).
