Pip & Nut is entering the market for nut butter cups with the introduction of its own range made using almonds and peanuts.

Pip and Nut Butter Cups

Available to independents, each cup features a coating of ethically sourced, single-origin Colombian chocolate. They also come in 34g packs, containing two cups, and carry an rrp of £1.49.

Sold in three variants: milk chocolate peanut butter; dark chocolate peanut butter; and dark chocolate almond butter, the cups contain 102 calories and are natural, gluten-free and contain no palm oil. The dark chocolate cups are also vegan.

Pippa Murray, founder of Pip & Nut, said: “Time and time again we had consumers asking us to make nut butter cups - in fact some of our most engaged Instagram posts were those featuring nut butter cups. After listening to our community of fans we are so pleased to present our very own range. Over the last five years, we’ve perfected the primary ingredient nut butter so it feels like a no brainer for us to bring our expertise in nut butter to this new product range and category.

“At Pip & Nut, we hold ourselves accountable to making products with the best ingredients possible so, to accompany our award winning nut butter, I’m delighted to be working with an ethical chocolate supplier, Casa Luker. They not only produce utterly delicious single origin chocolate in Colombia but also invest back into their local community through infrastructure, social and agroforestry projects to increase the biodiversity of the land.”
