Starbucks has added a new flavour to its Chilled Classic range: Signature Chocolate.
Inspired by the existing coffeehouse customer favourite, the Signature Hot Chocolate, this new chilled drink offers a blend of rich Fairtrade cocoa and creamy milk. It is also the first flavour in the bestselling Starbucks Chilled Classic range not to contain espresso coffee.
Available now (rrp £1.60 per 220ml), the new drink features a distinctive melted chocolate-patterned pack design and black lid, that will stand out on the supermarket shelves.
The launch of new Starbucks Chilled Classic Signature Chocolate in the UK will be supported by an OOH marketing campaign, digital and mobile, product sampling and media partnerships.
Rebecca Kemp, senior marketing manager for Starbucks EMEA, said: “We’re known for our coffee, but we’re also known for our delicious Signature Hot Chocolate, which has been one of the top ten best-selling drinks in our stores since launch. Since launching our Chilled Classic range in the UK, the European ready-to-drink sector has gone from strength to strength, and we’ve seen growing customer demand. Signature Chocolate will appeal to more customers who are not looking for chilled coffee in the aisle and can enjoy an indulgent alternative to regular chocolate milk.”
Starbucks Chilled Classics range is currently available in 30 countries across Europe and the Middle East. Along with Signature Chocolate, the Starbucks Chilled Classics range includes: Caffé Latte, Caramel Macchiato, Cappuccino and Skinny Latte available in supermarkets and grocery stores across the UK.
