HEINZ is launching a long-term initiative aimed at helping c-store retailers boost their core grocery sales.
The 'Grow Grocery' initiative aims to highlight to retailers the importance of key lines including tinned food and soups, sauces, condiments and baby food.
An initial 3,000 c-store retailers will receive a 16-page Grow Grocery guide, while other retailers will be able to get hold of copies via text message.
The advice booklet has been compiled using figures from shopping analysts HIM and in partnership with Shopmax.
The optimum recommended grocery range will be signposted within cash and carries to help retailers identify the correct range for their store.
