Sunny D is adding two low-calorie No Added Sugar drinks to its range.

The additions will be available in 1 litre and 500ml PET bottles (rrp £1.27 and £1.20 respetively) in two flavours: Tangy Florida and Juicy Passion. Each drink contains 20 calories per 250ml serving and provides consumers with 50% of their daily recommended vitamin D intake.

James Logan, commercial director at Refresco, said: “The Sunny D range of drinks is already below the sugar tax threshold. The new NAS drinks go one step further, bringing Sunny D in line with the aspiration for snacks to be less than 100 calories.”

The Sunny D No Added Sugar range will be available to independent retailers from mid-May. The new drinks will be sampled to around 1.3 million consumers at major lifestyle shows across England throughout 2018.
