Walkers is supporting the launch of its ‘Bring It Back’ flavour campaign with a depot takeover and twitter competition giving retailers the chance to win stock.

Launched earlier this month, the ‘Bring It Back’ campaign allows shoppers to vote for their favourite flavour to return. Flavours include Barbeque, Lamb and Mint, Toasted Cheese, Beef and Onion or Cheese and Chive.

The depot takeover is set to take place on 20 August at the Bestway Batleys depot in Park Royal, London.

From 10am, the first 50 retailers to visit the Walkers team in the depot will win a free case of ‘Bring It Back’ stock for their store.

The Walkers team will also be on hand sampling the latest flavours, giving away POS materials and offering merchandising advice on how to maximise sales for these limited edition flavours.

For those unable to attend the depot, Walkers is offering 10 retailers the chance to win a free case of ‘Bring It Back’ stock via a new twitter competition.

Running from 20 August to Thursday 10 September, retailers will be able to vote on twitter for the flavour that they would like to bring back to the Walkers portfolio.

They must follow and tag the Pepsico trade twitter handle: @PepsiCo_UKTrade, use the hashtag: #WalkersBringItBack and include an image of the Bring It Back pack they would like to bring back.

Matt Goddard, field sales director at PepsiCo, said: “We’re thrilled to be celebrating the launch of the ‘Bring It Back’ range with the introduction of two competitions, giving retailers the chance to win stock.

“At Walkers we continue to demonstrate how we support and excite independent retailers with our latest campaigns. We know that our flavour campaigns are popular with shoppers, therefore this new campaign will drive excitement for the category, whilst also helping retailers to boost sales.”

The winning variant will be brought back to the Walkers offering and all those that vote will have the chance to win £100,000, as well as an array of exciting weekly prizes.

The Walkers ‘Bring It Back’ range is available in-store now, in single packs, grab bags, six pack multipacks and 24 pack multipacks.
